This kit is a traditional period picture of the Dutch city, Amsterdam, in 1650. The charts are printed in black on white sheets and use cross stitch and backstitch. The design is stitched in 43 shades of stranded (6 strands) cotton thread. The stitch count is 501 w x 237 h Finished on 30 ct stitched over two threads, the design will be about 33.5 inches wide by about 16 inches high. 30 ct ivory linen fabric (21 inches high x 39.5 inches wide). 43 shades of 6 strand cotton thread (sorted, numbered and stored on cards). The charts, needle and instructions. This is a complete kit. It is basically “new” with the exception of a very small area in the middle that has been worked. The worked area measures about 1.75 inches wide and 1.5 inches high. The edges of the linen have been enclosed with seam binding to prevent fraying/raveling.
