Bucilla’s Discontinued “Christmas Village” Maria Stanziani’s Very Rare Felt Christmas Tree Skirt or Table Cover Kit 43 Fully Sterilized. “Christmas Village” tree skirt kit was designed by Mary Engelbreit and produced by Bucilla in 2008. This is an extremely rare tree skirt which has a Christmas village set against a dark green background. This precious tree skirt is also great as a table cover. The different shops include a church, bakery, coffee shop, craft shop and even a house that you can personalize as your own hoMe. This tree skirt/table cover is accented with decorated street lights, clock, decorated Christmas trees, children, a puppy, a kitten and Frosty. Bucilla’s “Christmas Village” tree skirt kit was designed by Maria Stanziani and produced by Plaid in 1998. This is one of the most gorgeous tree skirts of all times. It is not only beautiful under the tree but would make a great table cover kit. It is designed with a beautiful, detailed Christmas Village encircling your tree. Although Bucilla and Plaid have produced other tree skirts with the “village” theme, none is as pretty or detailed as this one. This tree skirt is so pretty that you won’t want to cover up the beautiful design. There is a lot of detail and action on this tree skirt, you can’t help but fall in love with it. It has extensive detail which makes it even prettier and will definitely show off your work. The unique factor on this tree skirt is the fact that you can personalize your own house in the village. Since this kit was bought on the secondary market, it has been sterilized and guaranteed germ-free. It is for this reason that my kit cost is slightly higher but definitely worth it. It is sterilized in the same manner that surgical instruments are sterilized. You can be sure that you will not be receiving anything but a perfect kit from me. With this tree skirt, you might consider two or more of the clear LED lights to accent the needlework in the front and make the snow sparkle. You could add lights to the windows of each shop or scatter them throughout the village. I do carry in the clear cool or the clear warm but would recommend the cool, clear lights with this tree skirt. These lights are brighter than the older Bucilla lights, they are more power efficient and cool on the fabric. They are very sturdy and not easily broken. They will definitely enhance your decoration since it is so convenient to turn them off or on. You can add the lights to this or any of your kits. It really brightens up your display. If you attach a small pocket to the top of the tree skirt or even place the battery pack near the edge of the rim to make it easily accessible for turning them off or on. Even if you use 2 or 3 strings, the process is the same. They are simple to install and easy to remove without showing the tiny hole or pinpoint slit that you make when you insert the tiny little bulbs. You can adjust the lights to twinkle or to stay on constantly. The difference in the tree skirt is unbelievable and so easy to do. The lights are very durable and last a long time. Even when you change out the batteries, they are easily accessible. I need to know the number of lights and the color you select. The clear warm lights have a golden glow and the cool clear lights have a brighter. The lights that are shown are not included in the price of the kit. This is strictly for your viewing to see the difference in the lights in case you are interested. In the past, Bucilla produced several lighted kits from stockings to home decor such as Christmas trees and Santa’s cars and trucks. These kits today are extremely expensive and don’t even have the bright LED lights. The lights are really making a difference in the items. It is 43 inches in diameter when completed. This new, unopened kit contains everything you need to complete your tree skirt including: stamped felts, cotton floss, color separated sequins and beads, 2 needles, tri-lingual instructions and directions for personalization. The only item not included with your kit is the polyester filling or a filling of your choice. This is a kit to make a tree skirt and not a finished item. In case of loss or damage, please contact me and I will file all claims. I wrap all of my kits in white tissue and label them so that there is no chance of the kit opening during transit and losing a bead or sequin. It preserves the cleanliness of the kit as well. All of my kits are from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment except for the vintage kits. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free. Since vintage kits go through so many hands, it is for this reason that my kits cost a little more because they are completely sterilized using the procedure that is used in a surgical procedure. I don’t just wipe down the outside of a package with a germicide. I do not use moisture or any kind. I sterilize completely throughout the kit. There is a grommet hole, a hole which is used for displaying the kit, ornament, etc. Germs and bacteria can go through the grommet hole on any kit. It is worth it to make sure your kit is germ-free. I will never sell you an incomplete or dirty kit. If I receive a kit that has a torn, dirty or in an extremely worn plastic package, I will replace it with a new bag and professionally heat seal it.
