This is a 1990 Bucilla needlepoint kit named Santa’s Visit. The design is from Linda Gilliam. This nostalgic stocking is worked on 12 mesh canvas using wool. Finished size is 18 measured diagonally. This is a listing for a rare complete kit. My thoughts that it was from the retreat held in the fall of 2023. It contain the complete kit for “Stitches be Sweet” by Jeannette Douglas Designs plus the complete “Smalls” kit that includes red velveteen, chenille trim and the pin set. Please see all pictures. The fabric APPEARS to be Seraphim Fabrics by Laurie in 40 count (12 1/2′ x 18″ approximate cut) and 36 count Seraphim Fabrics by Laurie (approximate cut size of 13″ x 13). The sizes for the smalls are 70 stitches by 112 for the fob and the pin cushion is 33 x 34 stitches. The larger sampler is 139 x 207 stitch count. The fabrics are NOT the same exact color which happens with overdyed fabric of different counts. I have pictured both pieces with a piece of white paper to more accurately capture the color. Overdyed fabrics are very hard to show the true coloring. All items are from a smoke free home. Thanks for looking and Happy Stitching!
