The Shepherds Bush Company have been creating cross stitch Christmas stockings for over 25 years and are as popular now as they were when they were first released. Each year a new stocking is released, alternating each year with a boy or girl one. These very easy cross stitch stocking kits have been stitched over the years by many needleworks and have become family heirlooms with needle workers eagerly waiting for each years new release. The cross stitch kit contains pattern, 18 count natural Floba cloth, DMC perle 5 threads, Weeks Work perle 5 over dyed threads, and a packet of trinkets especially chosen for Olaf’s stocking. Olaf is the 2024 new release stocking from Shepherds Bush. Olaf has been inspired by Tina’s husbands Swedish family, a family heritage that they cherish. The stocking depicts St Nicholas and his faithful companions waiting for the train from the North Pole carrying the supplies for a festive Christmas. The colours used are quite traditional and include beautiful red, cream and greens. The trinket pack which includes some beautiful charms that really make Olaf’s stocking very special.
