Bucilla’s Discontinued “Partridge in a Pear Tree” a. “1 2 Days of Christmas” Fe lt Ornaments Kit (Set of 12) 2008 Extremely Rare Original. This is the Bucilla version and not the Plaid reproduction. That is the reason for the price difference. Remember, it takes the same amount of time to finish the one with the cheaper components as it does the more expensive, thicker felt, etc. You can read reviews on Amazon on the difference in the kits produced in the last few years versus those produced earlier by Bucilla. Bucilla’s “Twelve Days of Christmas Ornaments” a. Partridge in a Pear Tree Ornaments kit were designed by Maria Stanziani and produced by Plaid/Bucilla in 2008. They have a matching Stocking kit and tree skirt kit. These are the most beautiful ornaments that Plaid has produced. They are very detailed and gorgeous. When finished, they measure 4″ x 5″. There are 12 ornaments in the set, one for each of the twelve days Christmas. They would be a great additional to your tree and would definitely accent your stockings and show off your tree quite well. I think every color in the rainbow is represented. The design is extremely clever. This is an original and not the cheaper reproduction that was introduced in 2014. The weight of the felt is heavier and the colors are vibrant. I have compared both side to side. This is an heirloom but the cheaper alternative would be fine for ornaments or to give as name tags but they will not hold up for generations. I have the original finished tree skirt and stocking kit and was going to do the ornaments of the reproduction but decided against it after comparison. The felts in the reproductions and counterfeit kits bleed if they are wet but you have care instructions and washing instructions on the original kits by Bucilla instead of Plaid. This is of the better grade of Bucilla components and is washable. It will not bleed. The Plaid reproductions cannot be washed because they will bleed. There are sufficient supplies and easier to follow instructions. You can tell the difference in the finished item. This kit was produced by Bucilla in the USA and not one of the outsourced ones produced by Plaid or a third world country. Please note that this is a kit to make ornaments and not finished ornaments. This kit is heavy because of all the different colors of felt and sequins the kit. It has never been on the secondary market. It comes from a clean, pet-free, smoke-free environment. This is my last kit of this design. I do have the matching rare tree skirt and matching stocking and even the vintage ornaments. In case of loss or damage, please contact me and I will file all claims. I wrap all of my kits in white tissue and label them so that there is no chance of the kit opening during transit and losing a bead or sequin. It preserves the cleanliness of the kit as well. All of my kits are from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment except for the vintage kits. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free. Since vintage kits go through so many hands, it is for this reason that my kits cost a little more because they are completely sterilized using the procedure that is used in a surgical procedure. I don’t just wipe down the outside of a package with a germicide. I sterilize completely throughout the kit. There is a grommet hole, a hole which is used for displaying the kit, ornament, etc. Germs and bacteria can go through the grommet hole on any kit. It is worth it to make sure your kit is germ-free. I will never sell you an incomplete or dirty kit. If I receive a kit that has a torn, dirty or in an extremely worn plastic package, I will replace it with a new bag and professionally heat seal it. Bucilla’s Very Rare Discontinued ” 12 Days of Christmas ” a. A” Partridge in a Pear Tree ” Felt Tree Skirt or Table Cover 43 Factory Direct (New in Package). This is the last one of this great kit. I have it made up and not eager to sell this last kit beautiful tree skirt. Her charge is separate from the my charge for the kit. It takes about 1-2 months to complete it because it is so labor intensive. If you would like to see the completed kit, I will definitely post some pictures because it is much prettier finished than the pictures because each day has a 3-D effect with intricate embroidery You can use this as a tree skirt or as a table cover. There will be no negotiations on this last kit. Bucilla’s 12 Days of Christmas a. A Partridge in a Pear Tree tree skirt is very elegantly designed. It goes from day one with the “Partridge in a Pear Tree” numbered below each day to the 12th. All 12 days are represented appropriately and numbered. It is simply a gorgeous kit. This beautiful kit is set on a dark red background trimmed with scallops of gold and green felt. This is one of their most elegant tree skirts ever. When completed and will go well with any decor. When finished this is 43 round and can be used on a small table as well as for a tree skirt. I have not cut mine for the tree skirt yet. This is such a beautiful skirt, I would hate to hide it even with the most beautiful package. Just imagine how many compliments you will receive on this beautiful and colorful tree skirt. I also carry the original Bucilla, not the reproductions from Plaid or anyone else, rare, discontinued stocking kits and the ornaments kit that matches this tree skirt kit. All of my kits, tree skirt, ornaments, and stockings are originals made in the USA. The only thing that was not reproduced was this tree skirt. If you think the reproductions, which are much cheaper than the original kits are all the same, you should look at the reviews on Amazon. I do not carry any of the Bucilla reproductions. I have had my kits for years in a climate controlled storage bin. Please note this is a kit and not a finished tree skirt. This was designed by Maria Stanziani and contains stamped felts, cotton floss, floss separator, color separated sequins and beads, 2 needles, tri-lingual instructions and directions for personalization. Everything you need to finish your tree skirt is in the kit except for the polyester filling or the stuffing of your choice. This is the very heaviest tree skirt because of all the different colored felt pieces kit. It has been in my possession since it was produced. It is stored in an air-tight, moisture- proof container and climate-controlled environment. This is not one picked up from a garage sale or thrift store. If you are interested, you can actually light your tree skirt with a couple or three battery packs 20 lights LED kits. I do sell them at a minimal cost to my buyers. You can bring the pack through the top of the skirt where the tree trunk is and place them close to the front. The packs are not noticeable and can be hidden with small packages. You can flip the switch on, off, flicker, or remain constantly lit without a problem. The new LED lights are brighter and have a blunt top and will have less chance of being broken. I had only used them on stockings, home decor and wreaths and this was suggested. It really added to the appearance. You can choose to light just the front if you chose.
