EHRMAN very rare TURTLE DOVES PANEL by NEIL McCALLUM – TAPESTRY NEEDLEPOINT KIT. This is the very beautiful discontinued Ehrman TURTLE DOVES PANEL / WALLHANGING by Neil McCallum. It measures 19W x 33H inches / 47W x 84H cm approx. The kit is in pristine / excellent condition and is in its original packaging. This panel is the pair to Neil McCallum’s’Owl Panel’. Both panels are a William Morris design from 1890 which was originally worked in silk (but this one is worked in Appleton’s wools). The first picture shows an Ehrman illustration of the finished panel which doesn’t really do the design justice. In reality the colours are quite bright and are on a dark green background. The illustration makes the backgound look black. I have therefore photographed the woolpack outside in daylight so that you can see the true colour of the wools. The pre printed canvas is 12 count and the kit includes full instructions, needle and. Please see the photos for what is included in the listing and the condition of the items. Please note that there is NO stitching chart with this kit as this is how it was originally supplied by Ehrman. Printed canvas 12 holes to the inch.
