This Discontinued “Nordic Gingerbread House” Christmas Advent Calendar is a precious Advent Calendar wall hanging that will be the perfect decoration for the holiday. This is one of Plaid’s better designed kits. Who doesn’t think about Christmas without thinking about Gingerbread? This is one of their detailed, colorful kits that is full of everything about Christmas goodies. This would be a great accent to any wall and how much fun for your children for the Christmas countdown. This is one of the most colorful Advent calendar or wall hanging kits to display for Christmas. This discontinued, new kit is direct from Plaid and is factory sealed. This kit contains stamped felts, cotton floss, color separated sequins and beads, 2 needles, and instructions. The Gingerbread House designed in the Nordic theme. The completed kit looks like it could be a ski lodge in the Swiss Alps. It is unique because it has 24 small pieces that hang off the calendar, but they aren’t not numbered like a traditional advent calendar. So it really could be used as an advent calendar or a wall hanging. The small pieces that hang onto the Gingerbread house are on the roof line, in the foreground, above the door (wreath), above the wreath (heart) and the hearts above either window. However you use this kit, it will received high marks for being so cute and fun. It would look great in your home or would make a cherished gift. This kit contains all of the components necessary to complete including: stamped felt, cotton floss, sequins and/or beads, needles and tri-lingual instructions. The Gingerbread House Advent Calendar kit is 18″ x 23″ when completed. This is a kit to make a Gingerbread House Advent Calendar wall hanging and not a finished item. With this Advent wall hanging, you might consider a string of the LED lights, which I do carry in the clear cool or the clear warm. These lights are brighter than the older Bucilla lights, they are more power efficient and cool on the fabric. They will definitely enhance your decoration since it is so convenient to turn them off or on. You can add the lights to this or any of your kits. It really brightens up your display. If you attach a small pocket to the back of the wall hanging, wreath, Advent calendar or the stocking kit, or any other home decor piece, it makes it easily accessible for turning them off or on. They are simple to install and easy to remove without showing the tiny hole or pinpoint slit that you make when you insert the tiny little bulbs. You can adjust the lights to twinkle or to stay on constantly. I need to know the number of lights and the color you select. The clear warm lights have a golden glow and the cool clear lights have a brighter. The lights that are shown are not included in the price of the kit.
