This Nautical Santa stocking has everything on it that the sea-going ocean lover in your life needs to remind them of the joys of being out on the open sea. From the red and white Candy Cane striped lighthouse in the toe of the stocking to the ships wheel at the top everything on this stocking is designed for ocean adventurers The more you look at the pattern, the more surprises you find including the Seagull perched on the Spyglass Santa is using to scan the horizon and the rope with an anchor attached to it that is winding all around the stocking. If you look closely you will even see the word Joy on the sailboat Santa is holding in his hand. This kit was definitely designed with a lot of attention to detail in keeping with the ocean theme. Bucilla’s Discontinued ” Nautical Santa ” & Lighthouse Felt Christmas Stocking Kit 18 Factory Direct Extremely Rare Limited Edition. “Nautical Santa” is a very unique discontinued stocking which is the first one dedicated to the boating enthusiast or ” Lighthouse ” lover. Santa is holding a small sailboat with a sea gull perched his spyglass. At his feet is an anchor and the rope is decoratively strung throughout the front of the kit. On the toe of the stocking is a lighthouse. It is similar to the lighthouse that was a home decor piece in the past. This is a very colorful and one of the most unique designs so far. It would be perfect for anyone who loves boating, sailing, lighthouses, or great for a beachcomber. This was one of the best and most popular short-lived editions that Bucilla released. This is an extremely rare kit and it was sent directly from Bucilla and has never been on the secondary market. This discontinued stocking is 18 inches in diagonal length when completed. This stocking was a contracted design by Morehead, Inc. And produced in the Fall of 2011. This is a very limited stocking due to its short life and limited production. This kit is factory-direct and factory sealed. It comes from a clean, pet-free, smoke free environment. This kit contains stamped felts, cotton floss, color separated sequins and beads, 2 needles, tri-lingual instructions and directions for personalization. Everything you need to complete the stocking are in the kit except for the polyester filling or the filling of your choice. I have made this stocking for my son and it is one of the best designs for a man and his love for his boat and sailing. It is one of Bucilla’s best theme-created stocking. In case of loss or damage, please contact me and I will file all claims. I wrap all of my kits in white tissue and label them so that there is no chance of the kit opening during transit and losing a bead or sequin. It preserves the cleanliness of the kit as well. All of my kits are from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment except for the vintage kits. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free. Since vintage kits go through so many hands, it is for this reason that my kits cost a little more because they are completely sterilized using the procedure that is used in a surgical procedure. I don’t just wipe down the outside of a package with a germicide. I sterilize completely throughout the kit. There is a grommet hole, a hole which is used for displaying the kit, ornament, etc. Germs and bacteria can go through the grommet hole on any kit. It is worth it to make sure your kit is germ-free. I will never sell you an incomplete or dirty kit. If I receive a kit that has a torn, dirty or in an extremely worn plastic package, I will replace it with a new bag and professionally heat seal it.
