They were designed by Mary Engelbreit. They measure 5″ x 5″ when completed. All of them are beautifully designed with the Christmas theme. It comes from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free, controlled environment. This ornament kit contains stamped felts, cotton floss, color separated sequins and beads, 2 needles, tri-lingual instructions and directions. All you need to complete your ornaments are in the kit except for the polyester filling or stuffing of your choice. This is not a finished item. It is a kit to make 8 felt ornaments. In case of loss or damage, please contact me and I will file all claims. I wrap all of my kits in white tissue and label them so that there is no chance of the kit opening during transit and losing a bead or sequin. It preserves the cleanliness of the kit as well. All of my kits are from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment except for the vintage kits. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free. Since vintage kits go through so many hands, it is for this reason that my kits cost a little more because they are completely sterilized using the procedure that is used in a surgical procedure. I don’t just wipe down the outside of a package with a germicide. I sterilize completely throughout the kit. There is a grommet hole, a hole which is used for displaying the kit, ornament, etc. Germs and bacteria can go through the grommet hole on any kit. It is worth it to make sure your kit is germ-free. I will never sell you an incomplete or dirty kit. If I receive a kit that has a torn, dirty or in an extremely worn plastic package, I will replace it with a new bag and professionally heat seal it. A beautiful, large gift box containing a Sajou cross stitch chart depicting scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry along with 25 cards of Laine St Pierre embroidery wool and 70 cm square piece of 32 count linen embroidery fabric in sand colour required to complete the chart. The Bayeux tapestry measures almost 64 meters in length and this chart shows some of the major scenes from the tapestry. There are two additions to the chart, there is a map to show the site of the events surrounding the Battle of Hastings, and there are coloured tassels included in the chart, in order to show that the whole tapestry was worked in just seven colours. The pattern chart is 68 x 80 cm for ease of use given the complexity of the design, it is printed in matt and can be written on should you need to mark any references. Sajou Museum & Heritage Cross Stitch Boxed Kit- The Bayeux Tapestry. Welcome to Penelope Textiles. I also have pattern charts and smaller kits of the separate scenes shown in this large kit available in my shop. The back of the chart has explanations for the embroidery and it is also and is teeming with historical and cultural information regarding the Bayeux Tapestry and the the history surrounding the Battle of Hastings.
