Needlepoint tramme table runner, wall hanging, or bellpull needlepoint kit inspired by Vienna Austria’s Gustav Klimt’s 1890’s ornate patterns. Finished area is approximately 32″ x 7″ on 10-count Penelope canvas approximately 35″ x 9″. The kit includes only the trammed canvas and yarn. The kit does not include finishing materials. This kit includes the trammed canvas (100% cotton canvas with hand-stitched trammed portions in 100% wool) and matching 100% wool needlepoint tapestry yarn to stitch over the trammed canvas using half-cross stitch. This kit was produced in very limit quantities and does not have custom printed instructions, pictures, charts, needle, or packaging typically found in mass-produced kits. A tramme needlepoint is a pre-stitched design on double-mesh Penelope canvas instead of a painted or printed design. The pre-stitching is typically horizontal lines. The needleworker uses the matching color yarn included in the kit to stitch over the pre-stitching. Sometimes fine details such as faces, skin, and flowers are pre-finished in petit point or gros stitch. Kits generally only include sufficient yarn to stitch over the pre-stitch using the half-cross stitch technique to save yarn. Some trammes have the entire design area pre-stitched, and others only have the main features pre-stitched and the needleworker provides their own yarn (and colors of choice) to stitch the background and unstitched areas.

Elizabeth Bradley Victorian Flowers A Design For A Bellpull Or Carpet Boarder Kit. I have listed the condition as Used as the kit has been opened from within its original packaging and an area circa 10cm deep has been carefully started please see photo. The wool, instructions, full colour chart, wool colour sample card, folded canvas and two needles and documentation on history and background colour as supplied are included. There are some markings commensurate with where the adhesive on the bag has aged onto the instruction leaflet and 8 needle holes 6 on front instruction page and 2 within. The coloured chart and canvas have some minor creasing at the corners from storage although fundamentally this will not detract from completion of this beautiful design, I have just tried to be accurate in listing! The wool included in this kit is for the black background bell pull option. This kit has been stored in a bag in a cupboard in a smoke free house. Enjoy this needlepoint bell pull design on its own or as a floral border. The printed design is 6″ x 40″ on a 10″ x 44″ canvas using 10-count interlock canvas. This kit includes, chart card, instructions for the Victorian cross stitch and wool. I do however try to be accurate in listing. Other countries are excluded from this listing.
