Bucilla’s Discontinued “Christmas Joy” Felt Christmas Stocking Kit- EXTREMELY RARE Factory Direct 18 Authentic Not a 2012 Reproduction or Second. Any time is a great time to work on your Christmas heirlooms for Christmas or gifts throughout the year. If you like the fat, jolly Santa, you will love this kit. “Christmas Joy” is one of the 2007 released kits from Bucilla. Not only are the colors and figures very vibrant but there is a lot of accents on this traditional, detailed kit. You have to see the finsihed stocking to appreciate this kit. The Santa on this kit is one of the best ones Maria Stanziani has produced. Not only is the pack of toys colorful but the Christmas ornaments on the toe of the stocking are outstanding. One of the most unique details on this kit is Santa’s lantern. It has been many years since Bucilla has duplicated the lantern. This discontinued kit was sent directly from Plaid/Bucilla. It has never been on the secondary market. This new, unopened kit contains everything you need to complete your stocking including: stamped felts, cotton floss, color separated sequins and beads, 2 needles, tri-lingual instructions and directions for personalization. The only item not included with your kit is the polyester filling or a filling of your choice. This is an original and not one of the 2012 reproductions. All of the felt is the original color and quality with all components produced and assembled in the U. Even though the reproductions are packaged in the original packaging, showing the production date of 2007, there are some noticeable differences. The felts in the original Bucilla kits do not bleed when wet or washed gently, the directions are different and much easier to follow. And there are sufficient quality beads and sequins that do not flake off. Some of the components of the newer kits are made in China, Taiwan and France as well. Once it is gone, it is gone. I do have the ornaments kit that matches this stocking. In case of loss or damage, please contact me and I will file all claims. I wrap all of my kits in white tissue and label them so that there is no chance of the kit opening during transit and losing a bead or sequin. It preserves the cleanliness of the kit as well. All of my kits are from a clean, smoke-free, pet-free environment except for the vintage kits. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free. Since vintage kits go through so many hands, it is for this reason that my kits cost a little more because they are completely sterilized using the procedure that is used in a surgical procedure. I don’t just wipe down the outside of a package with a germicide. I sterilize completely throughout the kit. There is a grommet hole, a hole which is used for displaying the kit, ornament, etc. Germs and bacteria can go through the grommet hole on any kit. It is worth it to make sure your kit is germ-free. I will never sell you an incomplete or dirty kit. If I receive a kit that has a torn, dirty or in an extremely worn plastic package, I will replace it with a new bag and professionally heat seal it. Bucilla”White Christmas” Felt Christmas Stocking Kit – 18 OOP Factory Direct Authentic 2006 not the 2011 Replica. Now is a great time to get started on your stockings for next Christmas or gifts throughout the year. This is the real “White Christmas” which was produced in 2006 and it is white and gold only. This is a stunning gold stocking that would go well with the clear lights at Christmas. The fabric and floss is superior. It is one of the more decorative designs using only white and gold. Even white poinsettias on this white stocking stand out because of the stitching and outline of the metallic thread and the beading. The white sequins and beading as well as the metallic thread gives a very elegant Victorian style appearance to this “Olde World Santa”. It is beautifully designed in the white and gold. The original Bucilla felts are much thicker and are “washable” if necessary. The colors do not bleed. All of the reproductions and knockoffs have trouble with bleeding, felts tearing when stuffed, sequins flaking, and not all of the beads have holes in them. This kit was fully produced in the USA and not outsourced to India, France and China. Please note that the authentic “White Christmas” stocking doesn’t have any blue on it. All components are gold and white. You can tell the difference by the side of the package. There is a red label, with the Plaid information, on the left side of the kit. They have duplicated some of the other authentic best sellers extremely cheap. I honestly don’t see how this stocking can be copied at such a cheap price without the appearance to the stocking suffering. If you want a truly gold and white stocking, it is only on the original, authentic “White Christmas”. The changes may not matter to you but that is the reason the difference in the cost. Please don’t confuse mine with the cheaper kit. This is an authentic Bucilla “White Christmas” stocking kit. It does not have the red left side panel as the “reproductions”. Authentic kits do not have the red panel or hang from the mantle. There are several of the discontinued designs that have been reproduced and are reproductions. This stocking kit, designed by Maria Stanzani in 2006, is 18 inches in length diagonally when completed.
